    I am a lover of nature, the trees and ocean call my name. Trevor loves history and his devotion to the Canadian military and the people he loves is what makes him such an amazing person.

    To be able to say "I do" ocean-side under a spring tree just waiting to bloom, in the shadow of the cannons and historical site in St. Andrews was a dream come true.

    But the Icing on the cake was having Deanna speak so kindly about our Grandmothers, capturing what makes us "us" in the details of our ceremony script and for the blessings of the winds North, South, East and West.

    Shannon-May is such an amazing photographer and kind soul. She captured all our laughter, the smiles, tears of joy, and the essence of who we are and who we will look back upon as the years go by. She found the "us" and curated a gallery of photos we can truly say were in the moment and real.

I never thought we would end up choosing to elope, but with the past couple of years being hectic with trying to plan a wedding through the pandemic, I luckily came across NB elopements.

  • After a meeting via a zoom call, we quickly knew that Shannon-May and Deanna were who we wanted to plan our elopement with. From the many emails, the questionnaires and everything in-between Shannon-May and Deanna were committed to getting to know us and planning the most beautiful day.

    Shannon-May recommended a stunning venue in Fredericton to have our elopement. She covered every detail of the day, from considering the perfect time for our outdoor golden hour couples portraits to preparing and guiding us (a camera-shy couple) through photography poses. We felt so comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

    Deanna scripted and officiated the most beautiful ceremony I could have ever imagined. The script was so personal, it felt like she knew us our entire 10-year relationship. She knew the right questions to ask in our questionaries and prepared us with personal resources to help write our vows. Her words brought tears to everyone in the room. She even added a special touch by having our vows printed on personal cards to read during the ceremony, and she had our ceremony script typed and printed with a photo of us on the cover. I think I’ve read it at least one hundred times since our wedding.

    Shannon-May and Deanna are as genuine as it gets, they work so well together to create something so beautiful. I cannot recommend this duo enough. I encourage you to choose NB elopements. I wish I could relive the day over and over again because it truly was perfection.

They have years of experience working in the industry and it showed in every piece of advice and quickly-answered question. From the small stuff to the big stressors, they had an answer or a solution for everything– and if they didn’t, they were willing to move heaven and earth to find one!

    Navigating event planning during the COVID pandemic has been anxiety-inducing. Deanna and Shannon-May were available and with us every step of the way. Days before our event restrictions changed suddenly, and the two of them immediately stepped in and helped research options. They remained reassuring and calm throughout all the turmoil, and our wedding went off without a hitch.

    In the planning stage, they broke down the process of what needed to happen, what was on us to accomplish, and how they could help. Everything felt incredibly manageable! The two of them were so kind and professional. The ceremony Deanna wrote and officiated for us was personal, touching, and exactly what we wanted. Shannon-May captured the most beautiful small moments as well as the nicest family portraits either my wife or I have ever had. Working with them was easy, fun, and filled with small touches that really show how much they care about their couples.
